What are the objectives of the summit?
- It is the largest all-faith, international gathering of children coming from over 40 countries filled with the I CAN MINDSET who design REAL solutions and create REAL positive impact on society.

Where will the summit happen?
- The summit will happen in Rome.

When is the summit scheduled?
- The summit is scheduled from 27th to 30th November, 2019.

What are the facilities for Accommodation?
- There are three kinds of accommodation that are being offered. Please see the accommodation tab for more details.

Will the accommodation options have an adequate heating facility?
- Yes. But, it is advisable for students to pack their warm clothes.

Will I get any transportation facility?
- While guidance, maps and directions will be provided, you must take taek of your own transportation to and from your accommodation and between venues

How many students can I bring to attend the summit?
- There is no limit to the number of students which you can bring.

Do we need to send someone to accompany the children?
- Yes. Adults to children ratio of 1:5 should be maintained. The adult must speak and understand English so that they can assist the children with translations in case they need it.

Do we have to prepare the students for a project presentation?
- Yes, the second and third days will be where the children will have the opportunity to present their stories. Each team will get a set amount of time for their presentation, but there will not be any performances by them.

What is the average price in a restaurant?
- Dinner options are huge in Rome, from pizza on the street to expensive restaurants.

Can we cook our own food in the schools?
- Schools do not have a canteen to cook in.

Will everything take place at the same location?
- The venue for the fourth day's event will be at the Aula Paula VI, Vatican. However, we are still in the process of confirming the event venues for the remaining days.

Do boys and girls have separate accommodation?
- Yes, girls and boys will sleep separately both in the indoor camp style accommodation in schools as well as in casas.

Do the students participate in organizing the event?
- Yes. It will be a student led event.

In which language will the event happen?
- Languages will be Italian and English.

Is there any specification related to the age of the students?
- We are going to have kids from 5 to 18 years of age.

Will the students of a particular country always stay together?
- We will try to mix the groups from different countries so that the kids and adults could interact with other countries in order to give children a truly diverse experience

Will we have free time after the summit?
- Participants will have free time every day.

What are the different activities planned for the 4 days?

Will the event be fruitful for the DFC country coordinators as well?
- We think it is a great opportunity to know the DFC family and have informal meetings with everybody. This year there is no GPM during the event in Rome but regional meetings have been scheduled along the year.

What is the recommended attire?
- Wear jeans carefully, as these aren’t thought appropriate for a classy restaurant or church. Men should never wear shorts. Women can get away with shorts as long as they aren’t too revealing and skirts can work as well. On the footwear front, wear stylish and clean shoes.

What will the weather be like?
- Rome enjoys mild weather in November with an average temperature of 15°C during the day. Rainfall is likely and you can expect an average rainfall of 130mm spread across 15 days of the month.
